Located south of Boston, MA, in Whitman, S&T Precision Cutting specializes in water jet cutting. With 3 CAD-driven machines and expertise cutting a variety of materials and thicknesses, S&T has been helping our customers serve their customers for over two decades.

Our team of skilled technicians works closely with each client to understand their unique needs and specifications, ensuring that every project is tailored to their specific requirements. ARCHITECTURE

From the Boston Garden to the Freedom Trail, from Oprah Winfrey’s residence to houses on Cape Cod, S&T has cut precision metal parts that enable architects’ visions to come to life. We’ve made entire wall panels, mantles, staircase runners, decorative railing panels, gate brackets, and large weathervanes to name a few of the ways we’ve served the architectural community.

We’ve worked as a sub-contractor to large builders and have done work directly for homeowners and architects.

ART

Artists and designers have turned to S&T to accurately cut the objects they envisioned. We’ve cut large steel elephants for a zoo in Texas and multiple signs and sign components for businesses around Boston (including Caffe Nero and EMC2 Club at Fenway Park).

Our expert technicians have made wood objects ranging from a large detailed butterfly and a full-size Nutcracker soldier to a multi-piece dinosaur and a small beetle. We’ve even cut a soaring eagle out of granite. From butterflies to ladybugs, ships to elephants, we’ve cut them all.

MACHINE SHOPS & METAL FABRICATORS

Machine shops and metal workers are some of our best customers. We’ve spent years helping cut the parts that they then complete. They rely on us for our efficiency and accuracy to save them time and money in their fabricating process.

We’ve cut parts for shops that make buoys for NOAA and submarine landing platforms for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts. Our jets have made parts for projects involving multiple automotive applications, from motor mounts and brackets to custom running boards and mud flaps.

INDUSTRIAL & FOOD EQUIPMENT

Our experience includes regularly cutting parts for multiple sub-contractors to one of the world’s largest food equipment suppliers. They rely on us to deliver very detailed parts with quick turnaround times. We also have experience cutting parts for a multi-national maker of food packaging equipment out of materials ranging from metals to plastics, and even rubber.

On the industrial side, we’ve cut housings, flanges, and assemblies for steam power generators and large industrial separators. We have deep experience in this space and understand the demands our customers face in their need for accuracy and timeliness.
